According to the statement on the home page, eMedicine offers 10,000 CME hours for physicians. Each article is like a textbook chapter on a single disease, written in outline style. There are two ways to receive continuing education credits. You can read an article, answer six questions correctly and receive 1.5 hours of medical education credits. Or you can read and correctly answer several questions in a subspecialty area correctly and receive 1.5 - 100 hours of medical education credits depending on the number of questions answered. One nice feature is the "eMedicine zoom view" which allows you to enlarge or change your view of the graphics. |
